Governments have never been known to reform themselves and the current debate over immigration reform is no different than the notion that government will cut spending and clip its own wings. By reform, D.C. politicians mean, to make that which is currently illegal, legal.

Lawmakers have been stopped from passing amnesty for millions of illegal aliens living in America. But they have not been forced to enforce our immigration and naturalization laws and even when Border States attempt to enforce those laws, the federal government sues the state on behalf of illegal immigrants.

In a current piece issued by the Census Bureau, titled Minorities now surpass whites in US births, Bureau racial statistics chief Roderick Harrison states ? ?This is an important landmark.? ? ?This generation is growing up much more accustomed to diversity than its elders.?

Of course, most of those ?minorities? are in the United States illegally. This is of no great concern to Harrison. But what does concern Harrison is this ? ?We remain in a dangerous period where those appealing to anti-immigration elements are fueling a divisiveness and hostility that might take decades to overcome,? Harrison said.

For several years now, Americans have been wrongly accused of being ?anti-immigration? just because they want their immigration and naturalization laws to be enforced. But calling someone anti-immigration because they oppose illegal immigration is akin to calling them anti-banking because they oppose bank robbery.

Like many sniveling liberals today, Harrison completely ignores the fact that we are talking about criminals here, people who have broken into our country illegally and make a career out of flouting our laws and undermining American sovereignty and security. Harrison is not at all concerned with these facts, he is instead worried about Americans ?hostility? towards illegal invaders, as if Americans oppose immigration altogether.

America is an immigrant nation. But we are also a civilized society of laws. Under the false claim that Americas immigration and naturalization laws are just too stringent and unfair, progressives like Harrison spread false notions to support their call for immigration reform, otherwise known as blanket amnesty for all illegals and the end to American sovereignty and security.

Which unfair immigration and naturalization requirements should we get rid of???

I am only 22. I got married back in 2010 to a guy i met in high school..we were off and on in high school, then in college we just hung out sometimes, but pretty much called it quits bc he was tlking to other girls while trying to work stuff out with me...then he joined the army and i saw a change a good change. well i went out to his graduation and he asked if we could get married..long story short we got married a couple months later....well i moved out to where he was stationed and we lived there for 6 months, 3 months into our marriage i found out i was pregnant. then he found out they were kicking him out bc of pt problems. sooo we moved back home, a place i never wanted to come back too. he had high school friends and bad influences back at home...well i was right moving back home made him revert back to the "boy" he used to be...partying all the time, lying about where he was...it was getting tiring. well in october of 2011 i gave birth to a lil girl and things were ok between us. I mean i did almost everything for our child while he sat around playing video games. then in december we got in a huge fight over this girl he was tlking to. they have been best friends since like forever, but i asked him if he would cool it and not tlk to her as much and focus on our relationship. well we fought and he left... he wouldnt tlk to me for a week and a half told everyone is was done with me and wanted a divorce..he went out adn partied and only saw his daughter once....he lived with someone else for a couple of days and then moved back...but stayed locked in his room..(we live with his parents) well he came back a week and a half later and apologized and we went to counseling like 2 times. (not enough)..things were ok for a while but i found on his cell that he was tlkin to some girl again...well we went on a date in april adn came home and he has not wanted to be intimate for like a month or so....and we fought about that and he left again...he stopped tlkin to me. a couple days later he said he needed to tlk. Well he told me he wanted a seperation and that i needed to go live wiht my parents. i have been living here ever since then with our 7 month old...now that i moved out he is like thriving i guess you would call it...he is applying for a bettter job and is wanting to see his daughter and spend time with her, his parents do have some influence over him though bc they want to see her too...WHY NOW??? I mean i go through a yr and a half of marriage...i would do anything for him...i have been there for him through good and bad..its been a month and he still has yet to tlk to me...he wont look me in the eyes and he tried to avoid me at all cost. we have been fighting over who gets our daughter and when...its just not fair...all he keeps saying is he made a mistake in marrying me and we married for the wrong reasons. he tells his parents he wants a divorce.not really giving a good reasons just kindof making up excuses. well then i went out saturday night and he found out and? blew up saying i was a bad mom for leaving our daughter at home with my parents...cussing at my friend calling her aweful names and saying i was a waste of time...he is treating me AWEFUL and im not sure why he cares what i do now we r seperated.he was adopted and has issues he needs to work out. i pray and cry all the time i pray God would open his eyes and change his heart..i do want our relationship to work out, but its going to take ALOT of work and im not sure at this point he wants to...im jsut at my wits end as to knowing what to do..

Facebook, banks sued over pre-IPO analyst calls

(Reuters) - Facebook Inc and lead underwriter Morgan Stanley were sued by shareholders who claimed they hid the social networking company's weakened growth forecasts ahead of its $16 billion (10.19 billion pounds) initial public offering.

The lawsuit came as Facebook and the banks that took it public face questions about the IPO, which culminated in a May 18 stock market debut plagued by technical glitches.

Facebook shares fell 18.4 percent from their $38 IPO price in their first three trading days. They were up $1.08, or 3.5 percent, at $32.08 in Wednesday afternoon trading.

The lawsuit claimed that the defendants, including Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg, Goldman Sachs Group Inc and JPMorgan Chase & Co, concealed "a severe and pronounced reduction" in revenue growth forecasts resulting from greater use of Facebook's app or website through mobile devices.

It also accused Facebook of telling its bank underwriters to "materially lower" their forecasts for the company. The lawsuit said the underwriters disclosed the lowered forecasts to "preferred" investors only, instead of all investors.

"The main underwriters in the middle of the road show reduced their estimates and didn't tell everyone," said Samuel Rudman, a partner at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, which brought the lawsuit on Wednesday. "I don't think any investor in Facebook wouldn't have wanted to know that information."

Andrew Noyes, a Facebook spokesman, said: "We believe the lawsuit is without merit and will defend ourselves vigorously."

Morgan Stanley had no comment. It said on Tuesday that Facebook IPO procedures complied with all applicable regulations and were the same as in any initial offering.

IPO INVESTIGATIONS

The lawsuit seeks class-action status, and was filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. It asks for compensatory damages and other remedies.

On Tuesday, law firm Glancy Binkow & Goldberg said it filed its own Facebook lawsuit in California state court on behalf of an investor.

Nasdaq OMX Group Inc was also sued on Tuesday by an investor who claimed the exchange operator was negligent in handling orders for Facebook shares. Morgan Stanley said it is reviewing Facebook trades and would adjust prices for some retail customers who overpaid.

Research analysts at several underwriters lowered their forecasts for Facebook after the Menlo Park, California-based company in a May 9 prospectus that cautioned investors about the possible impact of users shifting to mobile platforms. Facebook said it makes little revenue from mobile ads.

The shareholders, in contrast, called the disclosures of Facebook's business risks inadequate, saying that analysts knew more about these risks and cut their business outlooks accordingly -- for the benefit of only some investors, not all.

"If Facebook told analysts to materially lower their forecasts, it should have told the entire market," said Antony Page, a professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. "We need to know what exactly was said to the analysts, and determine how different Facebook's public story was from its private story."

Regulators including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin are looking into how the IPO was handled. The U.S. Senate Banking Committee is also reviewing the matter.

BofA, BARCLAYS ALSO SUED

The New York lawsuit was brought on behalf of Dennis Palkon and Brian Roffe, who said they respectively bought 1,800 and 200 Facebook shares at the IPO price, and Jacob Salzmann, who said he paid more than $123,000 on May 18 for 2,961 shares at an average $41.77 each.

Citing people with direct knowledge of the matter, Reuters this week reported that Facebook during its IPO road show advised analysts for its underwriters to reduce their profit and revenue forecasts.

It also said underwriters Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Bank of America Corp cut their forecasts after the May 9 prospectus was filed but that these cuts were not publicly revealed before the IPO.

"If Facebook faced a known and particularly salient risk, boilerplate language would be insufficient," said Elizabeth Nowicki, an associate professor at Tulane University Law School and a former SEC lawyer. "If Facebook told underwriters to lower their forecasts, it would certainly be material."

Bank of America and Barclays Plc are also defendants in the New York case, as are Facebook Chief Financial Officer David Ebersman and several Facebook directors.

Bank of America spokesman Bill Halldin, Barclays spokesman Mark Lane and Goldman spokesman Michael DuVally declined to comment. JPMorgan did not respond to requests for a comment.

The case is Brian Roffe Profit Sharing Plan et al v. Facebook Inc et al, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, No. 12-04081.
