iOS users running version 3.1.3 have found themselves unable to use the App Store and have taken to Apple's support forum to discuss it.

Affected users haven't been able to update existing apps, download new ones, rate apps, or view screenshots ever since a?December 16 software update.

The solution is obviously for users to upgrade their iOS software, but there's a larger issue at play -- older iOS devices are simply incompatible with any software past version 3.1.3.

Apple has yet to officially acknowledge the problem -- until it implements a fix, users with older devices are up the proverbial creek.
