On Monday, I shared with all of you my patio makeover! I?m still so in love with the outdoor space. It?s become my new office.
To celebrate our Urban Oasis, we had some friends over for dinner. Every month, a few of us girls get together and make blogger recipes we found on pinterest. As you can see from this picture, the men in our lives are starting to show up. I think they know we?ll be making some good food and they don?t want to miss the meal.
When it comes to hosting a party, I had tons of things to do to get ready. (not including styling my patio.) I spent a lot of time cleaning, grocery shopping & making recipes. When 3pm came around, I was exhausted. I needed a little pick me up so I?d be able to finish up my last few chores before our guests arrived.
Helloooo, Gevalia Coffee. Gevalia coffee is so good! I love how I can buy it at Safeway. I picked up a box of K-Cups while I was grocery shopping.*
I?m all about making quality food & drinks at home?and that even includes coffee drinks! Instead of heading to you local coffee shop, make a tasty Gevalia Iced Coffee in your own home. For this recipe, all I used was Gevalia Signature Blend, Sugar Free Caramel Syrup, Skim Milk & Ice.
The rich, never bitter taste of Gevalia comes in a variety of flavors and roasts, most of which are available at Safeway. I picked the Signature Blend because it?s a lighter roast and it would compliment the caramel syrup. It was the perfect choice for me! My husband isn?t into girly coffee beverages, so he drinks his coffee black. He loved how smooth and light Gevalia?s coffee tastes. (And that means a lot! He needs coffee to function:) )
Anytime I?m feeling sleepy or in need of a coffee pick me up, I?ll be heading to my Keurig & picking a Gevalia K-Cup.* Turning it into an iced coffee beverage was all I needed to get me ready for our party on Saturday!
